Frequency Asked Questions
Can I Donate Toys?
Thank you for your generosity. Unfortunately we do not accept toy donations.
Since we are fulfilling a specific wish list for each child, we purchase a customized and thoughtful gift for them. The chances of a donation and a wish list aligning are rare.
However, you can purchase gifts for us! Contact us to receive a wish list from a child and buy a gift from that list.

Do You Have to Prove Financial Distress?
There are no financial requirements for this program.
We take any child who has lost one or both parents in the past three years regardless of their family’s financial status.
Note that not all applications are accepted. We accept up to a certain amount each year based on our pledges.
What is a Decedent?
Decedent is a term from the funeral and probate industry for a person that has died.
For this program this means the parent or primary guardian that died in the past three years.
Can I Enroll Multiple Children?
Yes, we will purchase gifts for the whole family up to the age of 16.
In your application add each child of the family along with the wish list for that child.
Does the Child Have to Live in the United States?
Yes, this program is only available for children residing in the United States.
Do You Have Any Other Services for Grieving Children?
Yes, please learn more from our parent organization, Honorable Legacy.
What are your Age Restrictions?
We accept wish lists from children 16 and younger.
For children under the age of 3 we will communicate with their current guardian on the best gift for them.
What Gift Details Do I Need?
As detailed as possible to help customize the gift for your child. For example, rather than just “super hero bed sheets”, include some of their favorite super heroes.
Because we like to customize the gift as much as possible, also please include your child’s favorite color.
How Do I Know What Gifts to Include?
Talk with the children about their overall wish list, then pick three meaningful, thoughtful gifts that we can purchase for them.
Try to select gifts that are $75 or less.
We will let you know what gift was purchased via the Wish Tracker app or upon request via email.
